A YEARS END!!!
Well, 2008 has been a massive year for hellosQuare with many releases and many shows in our hometown Canberra and tours around Australia. The Spartak tour launching their album 'Tales From The Colony Room' was a great success with the album recieving plaudits from press and radio alike. The album is still available here at the website as well as at the stores we stock hellosQuare wares with. Also recieving much attention is the 3" release by Shoeb Ahmad 'In The City', so much so that we are very close to selling out of the edition, merely after month after it's release. So order quickly if you don't want to miss out!
Next year is shaping up to be quite an eventful time already with various releases and events starting ge into shape. hellosQuare will be launching a regular series of shows on the third Wednesday of each month in Canberra beginning in January so keep an eye out for that while in February, Klumpes Ahmad and Austin Benjamin Trio will traverse the country in a hellosQuare showcase in support of their upcoming releases, the wonderous electro-acoustic suite 'In Bed We Trust' and 'Unraveled, Rewoven', a four piece collection of ABT reworkings by Andrew Pekler, Mapstation, The Remote Viewer and C.S.K.A. Other releases to look forward to include works by Cleptoclectics and Morning Stalker as well as many more throughout next 12 months or so!
