Away from the collective musical ideas of Spartak and Pollen Trio, this first solo recording by Evan Dorrian is a delicate yet dexterous landscape capturing the various dynamics of his work to date. Using the physicality of the instrument and it's various textures, he constructs a narrative that moves from busy headrush to isolationist field with the easy of a gifted musician.
